Since 1776, 40 million people have served in the United States military. Memorial Day was originally known as Decoration Day. It became an official federal holiday in 1971. This day is to honor those who have fallen while defending the United States. Today we thank those who have died while defending their home. Take some time today to remember the men and women who have fallen.

Spirit, that made those heroes dare

To die, and leave their children free,

Bid Time and Nature gently spare

The shaft we raise to them and thee.

~Ralph Waldo Emerson

Some of Woodlands Unique’s oldest vendors such as Best Home Furnishings manufacture their products in the U.S.A. Best has advanced facilities in four different cities in Indiana, and ships out to 24 countries. When you want to relax and unwind, just think about buying a piece of furniture from a good ole American company like Best Home Furnishing. Woodlands Unique will work with you to help find the right piece for you.
